Just a quick little post to show how spoiled I was this Christmas. My dear MIL gave me my first set of COPIC markers, actually 2 sets and a few extra ones to round out the color options. Now, don't get me wrong, I received a lot of other great gifts, but I don't want to list them all here at once. I'll reveal some more of my goodies as the weeks go on. I also wanted to show you how funny my Mom is. The gift card holder above was actually one of three commissioned from me, for my Mom, before Christmas. Although we were not to do gifts this year, she insisted she had three friends that she was going to give these to. I did suspect that us three girls were going to get them, but she insisted. Well, wouldn't you know it, not only did my Mom support me at that local craft sale but I ended up with my own card back filled with a Tim Card! Thanks Mom!
All supplies for the above gift card are Stampin'Up!
cardstock: riding hood red, kraft, very vanilla
inks: chocolate chip
stamps: winter post
ribbon: riding hood red 3/8" taffeta

Planning for the New Year

Well, I'm busy at it. Planning classes and stuff for the New Year, that is. Some altered art, some card making, scrapbooking and of course lots of bling and glitter. I'm very excited about starting up a new Stamper's Club in January, as well as some teen classes, project nights and drop in crops. If you are looking for a fun night out to do some stamping and crafting check out my website, www.amyjo.stampinup.net, for dates and times. I'm not at my own computer so I can't post any pictures of recent projects but I promise to do so soon, probably in the New Year, as it is only a few days away. Well, the kiddos are waking up from their naps so I must run. Happy New Year to you and yours!

Jumping in with both feet...

I've done it! I am now a blogger. Is that the right term? I'm so very new at this that I'll have to get the lingo down as I go along. After weeks of hesitation, I decided that I wanted to have a place for people to see what is up with me and the family... the family and I?( If you are checking this blog out, you'll have to excuse the grammar. It's not exactly my strong point.) What you can expect to see here is mostly going to be about my crafty stuff, with family goings on thrown in for fun and sympathy.
I'm keeping it short today but that may not always be the case. I hope you'll check back, leave comments and even have the occasional laugh at my expense. Enjoy your day!
